Cinnamon sore throat tea and the delicious layers of Greek yogurt, granola, and almonds in this parfait make it comforting and soothing.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 bag chamomile tea
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup granola
- 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Boil 1 cup of water
Add the chamomile tea bag to the hot water and steep for 5 minutes
Remove the tea bag and stir in honey and fresh lemon juice
Place the cinnamon stick in the tea and let it steep for an additional 2 minutes
In a parfait glass, layer Greek yogurt, granola, and chopped almonds
Pour the warm cinnamon sore throat tea over the yogurt parfait
Sprinkle ground flaxseed on top
Garnish with fresh mint leaves
Allow it to cool slightly before consuming
