Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup bright pesto sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Red onion slices
- Additional pesto sauce for topping
Instructions:
Ground turkey, minced garlic, bright pesto sauce, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
Thoroughly mix the ingredients together until they are well blended
Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty
Set a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and oil the grates a little
They should be cooked all the way through and have grill marks after 5 to 6 minutes on each side
Add the burger buns to the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown
Place tomato slices and lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers
Make a turkey burger patty and put it on top of the vegetables
Then, add slices of red onion
Add more pesto sauce to the burger patties by pouring it on top
The other half of the toasted burger bun should be put on top
Take a bite of your hot garlic pesto turkey burgers and enjoy!
